Owen Farist is a member of Gregory Doyle’s Litigation team practicing in both federal and state courts representing clients in commercial litigation, labor and employment law, securities arbitrations, and contract disputes, including those involving restrictive covenants.
Mr. Farist graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. He then attended Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law where he served as the Eleventh Circuit Survey Editor for the Mercer Law Review. While in law school Mr. Farist was also a student member of the William Augustus Bootle Inn of Court, a recipient of the Class of 1974 merit scholarship, and a member of the Mercer Advocacy Council where he competed in two mock trial competitions, including the 2012 National Ethics Mock Trial Competition in Sacramento, California and the 2013 Daniels Competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
